How this affects recommendations

It doesn't. Our recommendations are generated by AI based entirely on your description of the gift scenario — the recipient, the occasion, your budget, and any preferences you share. Commission rates play no role in which products are recommended or how they're ranked.

Our matching engine works by comparing your parsed intent against product enrichment data (gift suitability, tone, relationship fit, occasion fit). Products with higher commission rates receive no algorithmic advantage.

What we earn

Commission rates vary by retailer, typically between 3% and 15% of the purchase price. This revenue keeps Euphora free to use. You pay the same price whether you reach the retailer through Euphora or directly.
